Zee Marathi is an Indian general entertainment channel which carries programming in Marathi. The channel was launched on 15 August 1999 and was known as Alpha Marathi until 28 March 2004 when it was renamed Zee Marathi.[5][6]

A HD version of the channel, Zee Marathi HD, was launched on 20 November 2016.[7]Zee Entertainment Enterprises launched a full Marathi movie channel named Zee Talkies in 2007. Zee Entertainment Enterprises also launched a 24 Hour Marathi news channel named Zee 2
