In South Africa, a Premier is the head of government of one of South Africa's Provinces of South Africa, nine provinces. The Premier of a province plays for that province a role similar to that played by the President of South Africa, President for the country as a whole. National Assembly Of South Africa
The National Assembly is the lower house of the Parliament of South Africa, located in Cape Town, Western Cape Province. It consists of four hundred Members of Parliament, members who are elected every five years using a party-list proportional representation system where half of the members are elected proportionally from 9 provincial lists and the remaining half from national lists so as to restore proportionality.
