Nick Jr. (Indian TV Channel)
Nick Junior is an India, Indian children's pay television kids channel which is devoted to toddlers. The channel is the Indian equivalent to the Nick Jr., original American network and a part of the Nickelodeon (Indian TV channel), Nickelodeon franchise. History The channel was a block on Nick India then Viacom 18 launched it as a separate channel in fall of 2012. Viacom 18 launched TeenNick India, TeenNick and Nick Jr. as a single channel on 21 November 2012. Nick Jr. airs in the daytime while TeenNick aired at night. However TeenNick was discontinued since 1 February 2017, which made Nick Jr. a 24-hour channel. Viacom 18
Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Limited is an Indian joint venture operation between TV18 and ViacomCBS based in Mumbai. It was founded in November 2007 and owns various channels of ViacomCBS, as well as various consumer products in India. In January 2010, Viacom 18 went international with the launch of Colors TV, Colors in United States. The channel is called Aapka Colors. In July 2010, it got into 50/50 distribution joint venture with Sun Network to form Sun 18. In December 2018, Viacom 18 launched Sonic-Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon Sonic, targeting young adults. The company also owns Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Viacom18 Studios. On 31 January 2018, TV18 announced its acquisition of Viacom's majority in the joint venture, taking operational control and leaving Viacom with minority interest. On 1 October 2019, Viacom 18 launched Colors HD in Malaysia on Astro (television), Astro Malaysia; every serial will be served with Malay language, Malay and English subtitles. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition video mode originally used for terrestrial television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Shimmer And Shine
''Shimmer and Shine'' is an American animated television series, created by Farnaz Esnaashari-Charmatz. It airs on Nick Jr. in the United States and on Treehouse TV in Canada. The series is based on an unreleased pilot from 2013, and premiered on Nickelodeon on August 24, 2015. It was renewed for a fourth season of 20 episodes on October 20, 2018. Since March 18, 2018, new episodes moved to the Nick Jr. channel. Plot The first season is set in the human world and focuses on a young girl named Leah who is friends with a pair of twin genie sisters named Shimmer and Shine. Each day, the genies grant Leah three wishes, but they often make mistakes. ''Dora the Explorer'' is an American children's animated television series and Multimedia franchise created by Chris Gifford (actor), Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh Valdes and Eric Weiner that premiered on Nickelodeon on August 14, 2000. The series is produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio.
